Out of Town Venue Dilemma Solved: Party Bus or Limo!

When you have a special occasion it is nice, sometimes, to get off the beaten track and go somewhere small and relatively unknown – and preferably uninhabited so you can crank the sound up as much as you like without receiving a slew of complaints first thing in the morning! But getting your party guests to that venue can be logistically tricky: unless you are putting everyone up for the night, one attendee per vehicle will be the designated driver, which means they will have to watch everyone else drinking and partying the night away, and it is surprisingly easy to get lost once away from the main cities – even with modern GPS devices. Instead of forcing your guests to make the running to find your obscure venue, why not bring them to the party yourself, by arranging a collection point at a well-known and handy area, and driving them out? Or rather, having them driven out, in a sleek and gleaming limousine or in a party bus. Let us take a look at these two options so you can decide which is best for you.

Lovely Limos

Limos look great, and the bigger and ‘stretchier’ they are, the more hedonistic and otherworldly they look. Often limos come equipped with a wet bar offering champagne, the finest water, and other high-end beverages, television access, Wi-Fi included as standard, and other extra which vary from supplier to supplier. Limos have the advantage of being relatively discreet, and often come with tinted windows so no one can indulge their curiosity by pressing their noses to the window to peer in and see what you and your guests are doing!

Limos are a great choice for a relatively small number of people (ten or under, usually) who are attending a slightly formal event.

Best Buses

Party buses have something of a bad rap from the early days of the business when rowdy groups of sports spectators would hire a bus to take them to watch their team playing away, or to go to music festivals and so on. Hard drinking, messy passengers determined to extract every ounce of pleasure from the event could, in those days, give a bus operator a bad name, slightly unfairly. Today, the party bus industry has cleaned up its act and party buses are considered as good as limos – sometimes even better, depending on the individual circumstances!

Party buses now, can look just as stylish as a limo, while being big enough to carry up to twice the number of guests – ferrying them to your venue in groups of twenty. And twenty people are practically a party already, something that the bus operators encourage by providing neon lights, disco balls, small dance floors, foam party supplies, and even offering privacy in the form of a VIP area for the most special guests. If the drive is a long one, the onboard bathrooms are a welcome relief for those guests who have maybe tucked into the wet bar – often more extensive than that offered in a limo! – with a little too much enthusiasm!

In both cases, the drivers must have special driving licenses that permit them to carry more than eight passengers, and some companies insist that their drivers take advanced driving licenses in which they are trained in defensive driving methods. The cost is slightly higher for a bus than a limo – but this may be offset against the increased number of guests that can be transported. Which should you choose? Work out how many people will need transport, decide how formal or otherwise your event may be, and look at your budget to see what you can best afford. Whichever you opt for, your party bus rental NJ from Bergen Limo is sure to go with a swing, when everyone knows that they will be well looked after on their way home.
