One can go for windsurfing, kayaking, kitesurfing, hiking, cycling and a lot more on their active Caribbean holiday. Get the travel gears that you need and head to the Caribbean to have some fun.

Go for windsurfing and kitesurfing

The Dominican Republic with its reef-protected waters and ideal wind conditions is known as the best place for kitesurfing and windsurfing in the Caribbean. The entire shores are devoted to kitesurfing and windsurfing that are well suited for solo travelers as well as groups. There are wide room and space for everyone to surf. The winds are gentle and are perfect for beginners, especially in the shallow waters.

Enjoy diving in Curaçao and Bonaire

Curaçao in the Dutch Caribbean creates a special memory for all, what with those pastel-colored Dutch colonial buildings around and the vibrant sea life reflecting a lively atmosphere. Bonaire with sloping drop-offs and colorful corals is another excellent spot for diving. These warm, transparent waters showcase some of the most beautiful reefs as well as an impressive array of artificial reefs. Pick from the diverse mix of scuba opportunities that suits all levels of divers.

Nevis for snorkeling, hiking, and diving

Nevis with its unspoiled nature makes for a great spot for outdoor adventure. It is here where you will come across some of the leading hiking and water sports and outdoor activity. You can hike the famous Nevis Peak and climb an altitude more than 3000 ft. Or, you can snorkel with sea turtles or go for stand-up paddleboarding or wakeboarding. Take the Nevis Challenge tour and hike through the rainforest and waterfalls.

Trek through St. Kitts’ lush landscape

St. Kitts’ is a must for all those looking for adventure. Those sparkling waters and dramatic volcanoes indeed make it a great landscape that is just perfect for outdoor adventure. Embark on a zip-line tour of the Kittitian rain forest and simply blast across the rainforest. Enjoy the bird’s-eye views of the mountains and sea. Trek through Wingfield River Valley and rainforest and learn about the flora and wildlife.

Snorkeling With Humpback Whales

Head towards the Silver Bank if you want to snorkel with humpback whales that are active here between January and March. Just enter the waters and swim with the majestic marine animals and watch from below. Participants can get close to the whales and their calves in their inflatable rafts. Just make sure to use slow, gentle movements to not to disturb the animals.

Have fun in Jamaica

Jamaica s getting increasingly popular among travelers looking for myriad outdoor activities and stunning topography. Take the Horseback Ride or enjoy a refreshing Caribbean swim on horseback. Other outdoor adventurous fun includes kayaking and zip lining. Simply hop on an inflatable kayak, like this one here, and set off on an adventure of a lifetime. Visit the YS Falls nestled in the St. Elizabeth’s Cockpit Country foothills. One has to take a tractor-drawn jitney ride to reach the 7-tiered waterfall. After tubing or swimming in water under the waterfalls, you can head to Dunn’s River and climb along the unique falls. Wait, the adventure doesn’t end here as you can still explore the unique Green Grotto Caves filled with light holes and jagged stalactites and stalagmites.

Explore underwater sculpture park in Grenada

Grenada, filled with hiking trails and waterfalls, also boasts of the first underwater sculpture park in the world. Known for the best scenery in the Caribbean, Grenada offers a myriad of adventurous fun for its travelers. It is very thrilling to explore the underwater sculpture park as well as the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean. Visitors can also enjoy fabulous sunsets and other water sports such as snorkeling and diving.

The premier spot for snorkeling – Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands are famous for their clear waters and planet of dive sites. Thousands of water sports lovers head towards the iconic Seven Mile Beach and snorkel to mingle with rays and tropical fish in the marine life. There are vibrant corals all around, and one can also spot rare fish and sea life. Divers can explore the former submarine, USS Kittiwake which is just about 60 feet under the surface.

Paddleboarding in Tobago

Tobago offers one of the Caribbean’s most magical experiences.  After all, it is a fantastic experience to paddle through a phosphorescent lagoon. One can leave a ghostly green light as they glide over the inky water and at each stroke of the paddle, one finds glowing whorls and vortices. Millions of tiny organisms create those fluorescent visions as they react with a pinprick of light.

The list of adventure doesn’t end with the above mentioned outdoor activities. There is still a lot more adventure hidden in the Caribbean. You could cycle around Cuba, go hooking in the Blue Mountain Peak and St Eustatius or explore Haiti, Sint Maarten and Puerto Rico.
