    Some people are lucky enough to never have an acne breakout, but there are many who have not been so lucky. While most people would complain about the acne on their face, it can actually happen on any part of your body.

    3. Maintain good hygiene – bad hygiene per se is not the root cause of acne, but it can lead up to it. Acne happens when there is a more than the normal amount of oil or sebum in the follicles. Because of the sebum, along with the cells, it brings with it up to the surface of the skin, the pores become clogged. That becomes a pimple and when the bacteria in, it becomes inflamed.  That’s why it is a good idea to maintain good hygiene, making sure your body and face are always clean. Establish a regular skin regimen so that your pores will always be free from extra oil that clogs it.

    4. Be careful with the skin care products you choose – whether it’s cosmetics or just cleaning your face and body, you need to make sure that your skincare products are non-comedogenic and oil-free. You do not want to irritate your skin further if the makeup you are using is not hypoallergenic. The same is true for the soap or body wash you use during your shower or bath. Be careful in reading the labels of your face soap, lotion and body wash so that you will not aggravate your skin.     It is ideal to have your gel nail polish be removed by a professional, but you can also attain the same results right in the comfort of your own home – and ensure that the process is not be damaging to your nails – provided you have the right tools. What you will need is acetone, a nail stick made of wood, some cotton balls and foil.

    You’ll need a really strong acetone for removing gel polish, but there is no need to buy any of the expensive brands that are advertised for removing gel polishes – just buy an acetone that is labeled as maximum or extreme strength.

    Cuticle Protection

    You also need to make sure that your cuticles are properly protected. The key here is creating some type of “wall” between the acetone and your cuticles. This “wall” layer can help prevent your cuticles from getting damaged through the process since in order for the gel to be properly removed, you have to entirely cover your nails with cotton wool soaked in acetone, and then wrap with the foil. 

    Importance of Moisturizing your Nails

    After you have removed all the gel polish, your nails will tend to look a little dry so it is essential to moisturize your nails right away. Nail oil is recommended by the professionals. Another method to recover your nails after removing a gel manicure is to give it some time to rest at least overnight and hydrate it. You can do this by applying to your cuticles a suitable amount of Aquaphor or even Vaseline. Simply rub it gently into your nails before you head off to bed.

    All in all, don’t rush into using this type of products from an early age. With a proper diet, no smoking and sunscreen, it will be years until you need them. Everything has its time.

    You don’t need sunscreen if it’s not sunny
    It’s easy to forget to put on sunscreen when it’s not sunny outside. Forgetting though is not as bad as the common idea that when cloudy, sunscreen is not necessary. This misconception comes from the fact that most of us were not aware that there are two types of rays that can affect us and they do that differently. UVB rays are the ones that lead to tanning, as their burning effect is almost immediate. UVA rays are the ones that can reach you even through clouds, smog and even glass. The latter are responsible for premature skin aging.
     
    There are certain situations when you’re more at risk than others: around snow, ice, at the beach or near water. This is because all these mediums have a mirroring action and they can expose you to the effects of UVA rays even more.
     
    One of the biggest problems caused by the sun is skin cancer, especially melanoma that affects people in their 20’s. You should know that sunscreen prevents eruptions of red veins and acne too.
     
    Our advice: include sunscreen in your daily routine and put on that sunny smile.
     
    MYTH!
     
    Anti-aging will always be a hot topic, and info about this spring all around. Some are true; some is just hype. Look for honest reviews and whatever you choose to believe, make sure is an educated choice! But trust me on one thing: always use sunscreen.

    Eye lashes! Eye lashes! They can be hard to put on at first but once you get the hang of it. Then you are well on your way to popping eyes. If necessary lashes can be cut to conform with length of the natural eye line length. Mascara can also be used to blend the lashes with your natural eye lashes for a natural feel and look.

    Not every day I will do a face mask but when I do I want a product that will show me results immediately or in a matter of 3 days. The Freeman Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask is a clear green gooey gel-like substance that dries 10-15 minutes after applying to the skin. It can be easily removed by peeling the layer of dried product from the skin and rinsing to get the remains off if any. It does not hurt to peel off and it is recommended not to be used on the eye area, eyebrows, or the hairline.

    Freeman Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask

     The Freeman Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask helps to clarify and renews the skin from impurities. It has a thick consistency but spreads easily when smooth unto face. I use my fingertip to apply and I find it to be less messy. The product has a light refreshing scent of cucumbers and a slight smell of alcohol.

    If the mask is not dried completely then you will have a difficult time trying to peel it off from the skin. I would recommend rinsing off the product. Especially, if you don’t want to keep on the mask long enough to prevent excessive drying out of the skin.
