Fight Hyperpigmentation with Olay Luminous

It can be difficult to find a product that matches my skin concerns sometimes… When I’m not dealing with my t-zone being too oily under my makeup, I’m having problems with dark spots and rough areas on my face. Over the past 28 days, I’ve been using products from the Olay Luminous line to help with these noticeable skin concerns as part of the #Olay28Day challenge.

Products from the Olay Luminous line are:

Olay Luminous Micellar Water
In the morning after cleansing my face, I would start off with a damp cotton pad with 2-3 pumps of the Olay Luminous Micellar Water. I instantly proceeded to clean my t-zone area, my lips and other areas of my face with the damp cotton pad. The Micellar Water helps to clean the skin from impurities. It is perfect for removing face and eye makeup. The product is lightweight and does not leave any trace of oil on the skin.

The Olay Luminous Micellar Water is gentle on the skin; it does not burn.

Olay Luminous Miracle Boost Concentrate
After cleaning my face with the Micellar Water, I would follow up with the Olay Luminous Miracle Boost Concentrate. The concentrate helps to clear up dark spots, it is moisturizing and leaves the skin with a fresh, glowing finish. This product is also recommended to be used prior to the Light Hydrating Lotion. Whenever I use this product, I allow it to absorb into my skin before following up with a moisturizer.

Olay Luminous Light Hydrating Lotion

The Olay Luminous Light Hydrating Lotion is non-greasy, it feels comfortable on the skin and the after effect is just glowing and hydrating. I haven’t experienced a speck of dry areas on my combination skin ever since.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Overnight Mask
The mask is lightweight. I put it on at night and rinse off with only water in the morning. It is not a peel off mask, it is more of a lotion texture that rinses off easily with water. The formula is not sticky or drying. It hydrates and leaves the skin looking even and brighter.

Conclusion
After trying these 4 products from the Olay Luminous line for my skin regimens both morning and night, I must say that I have achieved a radiant, super soft, smooth, glowing skin and fading of my dark spots; they are not completely gone but it is a good start. I haven’t worn makeup since I’m trying to achieve a fresh face with a natural glow. I love to wear makeup but sometimes I just want to go bare face. With the Olay Luminous products, I am achieving the skin that I desire with less hyperpigmentation and oil popping from under the skin. Being a woman of color, finding the right product that works for your skin type can be a major issue. The Olay Luminous product line is budget friendly and works with every skin type.

What are your skin concerns? How do you deal with it?
