The Palladio Rice Powder comes in a square shaped container at an estimated size of 2×2 inches. A tape is attached to the lid, so it opens like a compact. The entire lid can be removed since it is just attached by a tape.
The Palladio Rice Powder is known for its oil-absorbing benefits and its ability to help makeup last longer while leaving a silky finish to the skin. Rice Powder is the refined starch from rice, known as Oryza Sativa, it does not cause breakouts nor does it irritates sensitive pores. The power of rice has been used for generations in the ancient art of Ayurveda, a holistic healing practice that helps to soothe inflamed skin. It has been used by Asian women in their facial makeup and to wash their skin since the 16th century. As you can see on the packaging there is an Asian looking lady drawn on the lid wearing a Chinese dress and an oldies perm. Palladio Rice Powder is considered as a rich emollient skin treatment. Palladio Rice Powder does not contain harsh chemicals, so it will not irritate the skin or cause breakout unless you are allergic to the product.
The Palladio Rice Powder has this scent of talc that is used in baby powder, the scent is not too overpowering but it smells old fashion. Palladio Rice Powder can be used alone or to set makeup, I preferably use it after I apply concealer and prior foundation application, since the powder doesn’t have any color and I rather to use a colored powder to set my foundation but I will dust a little across my nose or the entire t-zone area if needed. The Palladio Rice Powder helps to control shine/reduce oil, so it will create a matte finish once applied.

We all know that setting/finishing powder can become messy when they are being used from a sifter jar. To avoid this problem when using the Palladio Rice Powder it is advised not to remove the entire sticker from the sifter as this will help to control the amount of powder that comes at once through the holes. Peel a small section of the sticker and cut or poke holes in the sticker that covers the sifter area.
The Palladio Rice Powder is very inexpensive and for the price that you pay you get a lot of product in the container despite it being relatively small, the powder supply seems endless, it will last you up to a six months to a year even if you use it daily.
Use a light hand when applying the Rice Powder to your skin, a little goes a long way.
I wish this rice powder also came in a pressed powder format.
