Ipsy Glam Bag August 2014 Review

Ipsy is my first ever subscription service. I’ve been subscribed to ipsy for almost a year now and I can count a number of times I have received something in my bag that disappoints me. Anyhow for the price, I pay it shouldn’t be much of a big deal since I get to test a wide range of products before I make a full-size purchase.

The Theme for this Glam Bag is Beauty Schooled since August is where the student starts going back to school after the big break.

The bag is an orange and white polka dot, attractive shape, shiny plastic material. I am loving this bag, it seems as if ipsy was thinking about me when they designed it.

Listed below are the five products that were curated especially for me.
Absolute Lip Balm

Absolute Lip BalmĀ
This lip balm is very soft and it goes on smooth to the lips while applying, it can be used for dry, crack lips and just to add a little moisture. The lip balm has a nice grape flavoured scent and a sweet taste, it also has a good. I would not wear this lip balm at nights for moisture while going to bed. At first, I found it very difficult to get the cap off, but after playing around with it I’ve found a way to easily open it. You just have to hold unto the bottom container and pull the top cap until it comes off completely.

Dr. Brandt Best Selling Pore Refiner claims to minimize pores, blur imperfection and erases shine and matifies the skin. It can also be worn with or without foundation and setting powder.
Urban Decay Perversion

Looking for lashes that stand out, fuller and much longer without the use of fake lashes Urban Decay Perversion is a good choice.
Coastal Scents Forever Blush sample
Coastal Scents Forever Blush sample
This Coastal Scents blush sample is rather too small to fit my blush brush. Blush fresh and Elegant are a nice coral and pinkish colour.
Lord & Berry Liner
Lord & Berry Liner
This is a black, soft, smudgeable, travel size eyeliner fit for the area but you will need a little powder to set it so that it doesn’t disappear or smudge easily.
