Review: Garnier Micellar Cleanse Water

Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water

Ganier Micellar Cleansing Water is an all-in-1 bi-phase cleanser that helps to remove makeup such as eyeshadow, lipstick, foundation, waterproof mascara and so much more. It also cleanse and refreshes the skin. After using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water you don't need to rinse as directed. The product is not harsh against the skin and it is recommended to be used on the face, lips and eyes. It is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive.

This product has always been a talked about product in the makeup groups and it is a holy grail for some and a hit or miss for others. Strolling around in the mall I came across the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Home Depot I could not resist buying it. I waited awhile before I tried it and I must say it is a very good product indeed. It stands up to its claim!

It is stated on the bottle that to remove eye makeup you must hold a damp pad of the product over your eyes and gently wipe without rubbing harshly. As for me I wouldn't recommend that if you have sensitive eyes. I tried and it burned my eyes and they instantly became red. I immediately flush with water since I was standing over the sink. There is a warning on the bottle saying avoid getting in occurs. If it occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

The Garnier Micellar cleanser feels like a combination of soft water and a mixture of cleansing oil. I love to use cleansing oil to remove makeup from my face since it helps to remove even the thickest layers of makeup. After damping my cotton pads with the Micellar water I proceed to remove the makeup from my face, my face is often left with a soft glow and a clean feeling but as usual I would proceed to rinse with water. At other times if I just come in from my daily outing I would just use the Micellar Cleansing Water to remove excess makeup then ensure to wash my face before going to bed. This Micellar Cleansing Water removes at least 99% of makeup.

Using the Micellar Water to remove makeup will take 2-3 cotton pads for your overall face. If you have dry makeup remover towelettes you can damp them with the Micellar Water and proceed to remove makeup. The Micellar Water removed excess amount of makeup from my face, leaving a small unseen amount of residue and for a budget friendly product I would repurchase.

I did not experience any break-out while using this product and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
